1. cut across the fabric at a 45° angle to several pieces of strips of required width;
2. poke it through the maker slot by using the awl;
3. use a needlework pin to pin one end of the tape down;
4, then one hand pull the handle on the maker and the other hand irons the folds in the tape.
Using Tips: You should cut 46 mm width of bias strip for the 25 mm maker; 36mm width strip for 18mm maker; 24mm strip for 12mm maker; 12mm strip for 6mm maker. (Approximately double the width of the finished binding.)
